Wiper, Typ AS 02

The wiper type AS 02 equipped with two sealing edges is a double-acting seal. It consists of a PTFE profile ring and an O-ring as a preload element. The wiper function is taken over by the PTFE profile ring. The seal lip of the profile ring wipes off impurities from the retracting piston rod.

The inner lip reduces the grease layer thickness on the extending piston rod. These wipers are suitable for use with mineral oil-based hydraulic liquids, environment-friendly bio-oils and water and even with flame-resistant hydraulic liquids and air. The wipers provide very good gliding behavior and stick-slip free running, good dry-running properties and high wear resistance.

Speed: approx. up to 15m/s
Temperature: -30°C to + +200°C (depending on the O-ring material)

PTFE + bronze

The standard for hydraulic applications, good gliding behavior, particularly pressure and abrasion resistant, cannot be used in aqueous solutions or acids

PTFE + Glas-MoS2

Particularly wear and abrasion resistant, can be used even with poorly lubricating pressure media, in water and also in water-oil emulsions

PTFE + carbon

Exceptional resistance to abrasion and extrusion; can be used in water-hydraulics

O-ring material

Nitrile rubber NBR: Temperature range − 30 °C to +120°C

Fluororubber FPM: Temperature range − 30 °C to +200°C
